Q: Hello, I inquiring about the price of the sand filter

Q: My S244s filter has placard stating backwash and filter design rate at 62GPM. Is this optimal rate or max rate the filter can handle. I’ve installed a new variable speed pump and motor but the flow seems much less than previous single speed pump assembly. I can adjust flow greater than 62 on new assembly, but am hesitant increase it to 60

Q: Hi - I just ordered a new S244S. How do I know that it is an authentic (not knockoff) Hayward Product? Is there a way to send a picture and show you? I don't think that sending the serial number is foolproof since that is just a sticker on the filter body and on the box.
