Q: Hi! I am new to the sand filter coming from a DE Cartridge. I have a 2ish year old filter S244t2 for a 23000 gallon pool. Both years we have had the filter, the water is still cloudy after a month. The pool guys say there is nothing wrong with the filter. When set to recirculate, nothing happens and the pressure stays around 30. they have told me that the pressure doesn't matter because I have a floor system. Any advise?

Q: Hello, we just purchased w3s244t via Amazon and we put 300lb of sand into the unit and when the unit backwashes it is fine, but when we put it to rinse it pushes sand out. We followed the install instructions by adding water then the media. Not sure what is going on.

Q: Hello, Unfortunately, our current Hayward sand filter (S244T) has a pinhole leak right along the seam at the very top, near the clamp. However, recently last summer we replaced the multiport valve system (on top) therefore is there an option to replace/purchase only the sand filter vessel itself (of course including everything else such as new seals, internal parts/tubes, the skirt, etc) without having to purchase it as a “package deal” that includes the multiport valve on top? Not only would this help save us money but allow us to use&get our money’s worth on the multiport since it’s not even a year old and still in good working condition. I tried searching but was unable to find this option and was hopeful y’all could help. Thanks

Q: I'm replacing my 32 yr old S244T sand filter (inground pool with 1 1/5" pipes) and want to know if I can use the W3S244T instead of the S244T? The specs seem to be identical other than the W3 mentions Open Line, which I'm not familiar with.

Q: Gauge filled with water and psi will not stay consistent. I cleared all baskets and the main drain, changed o ring on filter basket, backwashed and rinsed multiple times, and recirculated water and psi/pressure is still very low (then spiking to high) then back to low.
