Q: Hey guys: I have the Aqua Trol RJ with the T 5 cell. I have the cell horizontal, will this cause it to work incorrectly? Inspect cell and check salt light comes on. 14000 gallon pool, 16x32, put in 400 lbs of pool salt. Also does not pick up the water temp. Does not give me the correct salt ppm. Says 1.80 I got this as a used unit might be missing parts and instructions. Is there a number I can call to discuss? Thank you, Mike.

Q: Please read my earlier post from July 20. This is what I bought, "Hayward AquaTrol Salt Chlorinator System with TurboCell for Above Ground Pools." When I open the big metal box it says, "AQUA TROL, SALT CHLORINE GENERATOR." So, if you are right, then your company mislabeled these items and really don't care about the customers that can't get them to work. Or is it that you are trying to upsell a flow switch with an old bait and switch? You say I don't need one, but after I buy it, you tell me that I do. Please help me figure out what Hayward's angle is here.

Q: Purchased this unit this week. Installed and ready to go. But one big problem. No flow light is on and pump runs continuously. I was under the impression that this unit does not need a flow switch and that it would switch on and off the power outlet for the pump. Looking at other forums I retrieved the AL code from my box, AL-0 r 1.47. And the cell is in the vertical position.

Q: Good evening, does Hayward offer replacement warranty? My aqua trol salt chlorinate will no longer turn on.

Q: What is the power consumption of AQ-TROL-RJ-CUL? The manual states a 15 amp circuit is required however I believe that is when the pool water pump is plugged into the control panel. The Canadian model does not have the pump plug integrated. My guess is the salt/chlorine control panel needs very little power. I am just trying to size the pool house's overall power requirements. I intend to control both the Aqua Trol and pool water pump via one 15AMP timer.

Q: Can the firmware be updated on the w3aq-trol-rj? Currently the version r 1.47 firmware is installed.

Q: Hi, I have the AquaTrol Salt Chlorine Generator model AQ-TROL-RJ. The weight of the Turbo T-cell 5 seems to put awkward strain on the threads of the elbow where it connects to the pool’s return port. Since I’ve owned this unit has there been any new design fixes to this issue that I could try? I could send you a picture if needed. Thank you!
